Longmeadow is only a few minutes from the centre of the historic city of Chichester with its Roman Walls, lovely Georgian architecture and the 900 year old Cathdral.  Also the famous Chichester Festival Theatre, Pallant House, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.

Arundel is dominated by the castle and Cathedral with its antique and craft shops situated on steep and winding streets is only a short way away.

Even closer is Goodwood, the home of the Duke of Richmond, with its world famous sporting venue renouned for Glorious Goodwood, Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival.

Serious walkers, cyclists and those just out for a stroll will find plenty to explore on the South Downs.  Nearby to Longmeadow is Kingley Vale with its magical scenic paths through woodland and on top of the Downs.  The largest Yew forest in Europe is situated there.

There are also many coastal and Downland villages to explore many of which have traditional pubs serving excellent food.

The coast with its many miles of unspoilt and varied beaches is a short drive away, with bird lovers heading for Pagham Harbour and surfers and sunbathers to Bracklesham Bay and West Wittering, families to Bognor Regis or Littlehampton.

Other places well worth visiting are West Dean Gardens, Singleton Open Air museum, Fishbourne Roman Palace and Bignor Roman Villa.

There is so much to see and do that, whether you are coming for a short break or a longer holiday you will want to come back.
