The Barleycorn, Nutbourne, near Chichester. run by Coral and Granville.  They serve a mixture of English and foreign meals.  Their fish menu is especially good with fresh fish always on the menu bought daily. The head chef, Granville trained at the Ritz and Quaglino's and his Sunday carvery is outstanding.

The Berkeley Arms, Old Bosham PO18 8HG  is another favourite of mine.  It is situated in the charming old saxon village of Old Bosham.  They serve very reasonably priced food and is only a short drive away.
